PUBLIC NOTICE

A public notice was published on February 13, 2025, by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on its website and other social media platforms, alleging that admissions in all disciplines and programs of Isra University were suspended and that the degrees of students enrolled at the University from Fall 2022 onwards "will not be recognized by the Higher Education Commission."

The operation of the public notice dated February 13, 2025, was SUSPENDED by the Hon'ble Islamabad High Court through an order dated March 19, 2025, passed in Writ Petition No.953 of 2025. Consequently, at present, neither admissions of Isra University nor any of its programs are suspended.

Furthermore, until further orders of the Court:

• The Higher Education Commission is restrained from interfering in the admissions of the University.

• The HEC is prohibited from interfering with the degree attestation of students admitted from Fall 2022 onwards.

• No adverse action shall be taken against Isra University based on these notices.
