PUBLIC NOTICE

On February 13, 2025, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) published a public notice on its website and social media platforms. The notice claimed:

Admissions in all disciplines and programs of Isra University were suspended.
Degrees of students enrolled from Fall 2022 onwards would not be recognized by the HEC.

Court Suspension of HEC Notice

On March 19, 2025, the Honorable Islamabad High Court issued an order in Writ Petition No. 953 of 2025, suspending the operation of HEC’s public notice dated February 13, 2025.

Key Outcomes of the Court Order:

Admissions at Isra University are not suspended.
HEC is restrained from:
- Interfering with admissions to Isra University.
- Interfering with degree attestation for students admitted Fall 2022 onwards.
- Taking any adverse action against the University based on the suspended notice.
