Admissions for Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab for the Session 2024-2025
According to the admission policy issued by the Government of Punjab on October 11, 2024, and the guidelines provided by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in their circular dated January 3, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, which is responsible for admissions to government and private medical and dental colleges in Punjab, invites applications from eligible candidates. The expected schedule for admission is as follows:

Online Application Submission: January 16, 2025, to February 16, 2025

Medical Board for Candidates with Disabilities: January 18, 2025

Order of Merit Display: February 3, 2025

First Selection List: February 5, 2025

Second Selection List: February 10, 2025

Third Selection List: February 14, 2025

Commencement of Classes: April 1, 2025
Admissions will be conducted according to the policy issued by PMDC and the Government of Punjab, including the reserved seats for disabled candidates. Applicants applying under the disability quota must appear before the Medical Board with original documents and a disability certificate issued by an authorized government body, specifying the nature and extent of disability. Only those candidates who meet the specific eligibility criteria will be considered for these reserved seats.
The decision of the admission committee will be final. Candidates applying for SAT-based admissions must score at least 1500 in SAT-II (with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics) or 50% in the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test).
Candidates who have passed MDCAT 2023 are eligible to apply for this admission session. The minimum passing percentage for MBBS and BDS is 50%. Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of education or equivalent qualifications from a recognized board.

Candidates are required to submit scanned copies of their original documents along with the online application. The application fee must be paid via the Bank of Punjab. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
