Admission Notice for Class 1st Year, Session 2025-27 (12th Lateral Intake 2025 for Boys)
Cadet College Okara
Established in 2005 under the Education & Training Institution Ordinance 1960, Cadet College Okara is a premier boarding institution for boys. The Governor of Punjab serves as the Chairman of the College's Board of Governors. The college invites applications for admission to Class 1st Year, Session 2025-27, for the following courses: Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, and ICS (General Science). The intake is limited, and only boys are eligible.

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates should be between 15 to 17 years of age by 1st August 2025. A three-month age relaxation can be granted as per prevailing rules. A six-month upper age relaxation is also available for Hafiz-e-Quran.

  • Academic Qualifications:

    • Candidates must have passed the 9th Class Examination with at least 70% marks.

    • If the candidate's 10th Class result is not yet declared, the 9th Class result will be considered. A Hope Certificate from the school principal/headmaster must also be provided.

    • Preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in their SSC exams while calculating the final merit.

    • Candidates must have studied the relevant subjects in SSC that align with the course they are applying for.

2. Courses Offered

Candidates will be tested in the following subjects based on the Punjab Textbook Board Syllabus of Class 10:

  • Pre-Medical: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

  • Pre-Engineering: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

  • ICS (General Science): English, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science

Test Center: Cadet College Okara

Candidates who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for interviews, medical examinations, and physical fitness tests. Specific dates will be provided later.
