What does it mean online/ offline admission fee?
Admission processing fee will be charged as: For on-line admissions, Rs. 300 will be included in the fee voucher. For off-line admissions, Rs. 200 will be charged by the campus & Rs. 100 in the fee voucher.
Convocation fee will be charged from the students in the final semester of the respective batch.

What are specification of MBA (3 ½ -Year) program?
The Faculty of Management offers a 3½ -year /7-semester program leading to an MBA degree. The program is basically designed for Bachelor graduates having Fourteen year education and wants to adopt business as career and aims to enhance their professional business skills. The student can select any one of the areas of specialization including Banking, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Management, and Marketing.
What is an eligibility criterion for MBA (3 ½ -Year)?
Candidates who want to get admission in this program must have 2-year Bachelor (14-year of education, i.e., BA/B.Sc./B.Com etc) from a recognized university/institute with at least 45% marks or CGPA 2.00 out of 4. However, candidates having less than 45% marks will be eligible for admission after successful completion of “Zero Semester”.
What is meant by zero semester?
A Candidate Seeking Admission in BS(CS) program and have passed the prescribed examination but not having achieved the mandatory percentage of marks as defined by the university’s regulations are required to enroll in a zero semester (fall/spring) and achieve the required semester GPA in order to become eligible for applying for admission into the respective study program

Candidate having 16-year of non-business education like 4 years of education after Intermediate, and obtained professional degrees like B.Sc. /B.E (Engineering), B.Sc. Agriculture, LLB or 4 years BA/BS programs/MBBS or Masters Degree in non-business discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 45 % marks or CGPA 2.25 out of 4. Candidates with 4-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with at least CGPA 2.25 out of 4.00/ 2nd Division having at least 45 % marks are eligible to apply.
Candidates having specialization in their 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration are not allowed to select the same area of specialization as mentioned under Areas of Specialization.

Is there any project or internship report essential to get MBA (1 ½ Year) degree?
Student who completed Internship in their previous bachelor degree/ already in service is required to complete a Research Project of 3-credit hours in the final semester of their MBA (1½ year) program. Student that has not completed Internship in their previous Bachelor degree is required to take 6 to 8 weeks internship in an organization and shall get internship letter from the concerned organization.
A student may select at least four courses from the area of specialization which not previously qualified in 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration.
How does the university assess the students?
The students are assessed by continuous assessment throughout semester by giving assignments, on-line quizzes, Graded Moderated Discussion Boards (GMDBs), mid-term and final-term exams. The mid-term and final-term exams are conducted at VU’s nominated exam centers and usually count 80 to 85% of the total marks of a course.

If you are a full time student then you can join any one of the more than 100 campuses of the Virtual University located in over 60 cities of the country and the list is available on the ilmkidunya website. Regular students can avail the opportunities of computer and Internet facilities which are required for student. However, if you are a professional or it is difficult for you to attend classes at a campus, then you can study from home. In this case you will need a television, and a computer with Internet connectivity.
How do I study through television and internet?
Course lectures are broadcast over free-to-air television and are also made available in the form of multimedia CDs. The Virtual University operates its own four television channels (VTV1, VTV2, VTV3 & VTV4). Students listen these lectures in classroom environment in virtual campuses. Lectures are recorded in a professional studio environment and after insertion of slides, movie clips and other material, become ready for broadcast.
From where can I obtain the lecture CDs?
Students can get CDs through the Virtual University bookshop. Not VU only students can get CDs but students and faculty from other universities as well as the public at large can get advantage from these courses. The instructions on these CDs are delivered in Urdu which help the students to understand and follow for all age groups.
Can I ask a question through internet?
Students can ask questions at any time over the Internet using the VU LMS.
How do I appear for my exams?
VU establishes examination centers across the country. Exams are conducted under the supervision of the examiners. The university conducts the MBA spring semester exams in July while fall semester exams held in the month of December.
