University of Karachi reveals 128 fake degree holders

Karachi: The University Of Karachi (KU) has exposed 128 fake degree holders and these people have been holding the main positions in different government and private sectors, reported a private news channel.

14 of these 128 are women. Last year, the employees of private varsities, bankers, lawyers, doctors as well as employees indifferent various high commissions all over the world were exposed by Karachi University.

As per the Controller Examination of University of Karachi, Arshad Uzma, most number of fake degrees (almost 63) was awarded in B Com.

Highest number of fake degree holders (21) is working in Pakistan International Airline (PIA).

He furthermore told that one doctor from Dow Medical University also had a fake degree.

One degree each was found in Accountability Court of Sindh as well as Accountability Bureau of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (aJK).

Two workers of OGRA and one official at High Court of Azad Kashmir also had fake degrees.

The varsity has written to all the concerned departments notifying them of their fake degree holders.
