Improvement of Labour & Environmental Standards in Pakistan's Textile Industry (TextILES)

As a federal enterprise. the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The project TextILES aims to strengthen public and private sector actors' cooperation, capacities, and competencies to jointly plan and develop approaches to synergize the economic. ecological, and social dimension of sustainability in the production of textile and fashion industry The public sector actors are supported by strengthening the capacities and facilitating the implementation of modernisation measures to ensure compliance to labour and environmental legislation in the textile and garment industry. For modernisation in service delivery and improvement of the management of administrative actions, digital transformation is the key and to support the process, GIZ is looking for a professional for:

Job title: Technical Advisor Digital Transformation

Function Designation: ICT and Digitalisation Advisor
Duty Station: Lahore

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Information System (IT) or computer sciences from a reputed university or similar qualification of a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of working experience of which 2 years on management information systems and digitization
  • Experience in delivering advisory services and training
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation systems and instruments as well as in measuring performance
