SEPCO is a Govt. owned power company mandated under its license to provide electricity to customers in upper Sindh. SEPCO has created a new department Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD). The services of dynamic personality and high caliber professional candidates (male/ female) from overall Pakistan for the following posts are required on the following Terms & Conditions:-

Post BPS Positions Qualification Experience Age
Manager (Legal / Contract) 19 01 Degree in Law (LLB). Masters in Law or Barrister in Law will have an additional advantage.
  • Minimum 10-years of total experience. Experience in power sector will be given preference.
  • Candidate having understanding of legal and regulatory affairs associated with the power sector including laws. rules, regulations etc and the contractual framework for power/energy sales and purchases will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 50 years as on closing date
Manager (Planning & Forecasting) 19 01 Bachelors' degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) from reputable HEC recognized universities. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10-Years of total experience including 5-Years in transmission planning or demand forecasting.
  • The candidate should possess understanding of tools and process for performing the transmission planning and demand forecasting functions. project documents like CP-1 and business plans.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 50 years as on closing date
Deputy Manager (Contract Management) 18 01 Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering / Finance / Accounting/ Law / Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized universities.
  • Minimum 5-Years of total experience including 3-Years in Power Sector. The experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
  • The candidate should possess understanding of bilateral contract and bidding process.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 45 years as on closing date
Deputy Manager (Regulatory Affairs) 18 01 Bachelors or equivalent degreein Engineering/Law/ Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized universities.
  • Minimum 5-Years of total experience including 3-Years in Power Sector. The experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
  • The candidate should possess understanding of regulatory affairs.
  • Knowledge of competitive electricity markets will be an added advantage.
Upto 45 years as on closing date

Assistant Manager (Finance) 17 01 Minimum qualification CA (Inter) / ACMA (Inter) or M.Com / MBA (Finance) / B.Com (Hons) 04 years course / BBA Finance (Hons) 04 years course with 02 years post qualification experience in BPS-16 or equivalent thereof in Audit and Accounts of Govt. department / Semi Govt. organization / Corporations / autonomous bodies or large commercial organization or large public limited companies of repute. Computer Literacy is mandatory Minimum 2-Years of total experience having 1-Year of experience in relevant field will be given preference. Upto 35 years as on closing date
Assistant Manager (Admin) 17 01 M B A / M PA /M A( H RM)/ M.Com/M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent / M.Sc or Master Degree in Economics. English. Statistics & Mathematics with minimum two 1st Divisions in academic career and capable of operating computer with special emphasis on windows and MS Office.
  • Minimum 3-Years of total experience including 1-Year of experience in HR & Admin directorate if have.
  • Candidate should possess understanding of HR and Admin related matter pertaining to MIRAD etc

  1.   7. Candidates Dismissed /Terminated from any organization or having criminal record shall not be eligible. A declaration on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- to above effect should be provided at the time of interview.
  8. The applications submitted by the candidates will be at the risk and cost of applicant. Any information found bogus at any stage, during induction or later in service, will result in termination of candidature or employment thereof.
  9. Age relaxation as per policy in vogue in SEPCO has already been included in above mentioned age limit and no further age relaxation will be granted in any case.
  10. The above mentioned positions are purely contractual in nature, non-pensionable, no long-term benefit and shall not be converted into permanent position at any stage.
  11. The appointment will be made subject to fulfilment of all codal / legal / administrative formalities.
