Lahore: University of Management and Technology (UMT) on Wednesday organized its annual 'Job Fair 2016' under the theme of 'Campus to Corporate'.
Large number of fresh graduates as well as other students reached the venue in order to submit their resumes and to kick starts their professional careers.
Over one hundred corporate organizations, including Approach Resources, Beyt.com, Huawei Technologies, Urban Sole, HBL, Stylo, Hardees as well as Inksters, set up their stalls to offer job opportunities to the interested students.

Besides the employment opportunities, the event also holds an exotic food court as well as educational advancement advisory together with the multiple scholarships.
More than 900 recruiters held talks along with the young and fresh graduates.
As per the UMT representative, the aspirants delivered approximately 5,000 resumes directly to recruiters and a lot of them were hired on the spot.
The chairperson of World Trade organization Jamil A Naz and Huawei International Director David Gwolang inaugurated the job fair.
The Director of UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad and the director of UMT School of Business and Economic Dean Bob Wheeler were also present on the event.
Though this job fair, provided a platform to its aspirants to build their professional networks along with the employers and receive an exposure about their fields.

While expressing their views, some of the aspirants said that the career fair was an amazing opportunity to interact along with the firms of their choice.
They furthermore said that the event had brought them opportunities to learn from the experience and polish the abilities that are requirement for seeking jobs in a competitive environment.
The chairperson of World Trade Organization Jamil A Naz, while addressing the participants, said the aspirants should secure their future as well as set their target before taking admission in any course.
He said that these sorts of steps are a good step by the management of institutes for aspirants and they should take benefit from these opportunities by dynamically participating in career fairs.
David Gwolang on the event said that said that they are always ready to offer their services and help out the aspirants of Pakistan, particularly in the technology zone.
He said that this event is an exceptional opportunity for both the students and also for the companies, as the both parties become more aware of the preferences of each other, which made the recruitment procedure more fruitful.
Punjab Higher Education Minister Begum Zakia Shahnawaz also addressed the aspirants, faculty as well as and corporate organizations.
