UHS Lahore to conduct postgraduate entry test on May 18

Lahore, University of Health Sciences Lahore is going to conduct Postgraduate Entry Test for academic session 2013-14 on Saturday May 18, 2013. It is mandatory for desiring candidates who want to get admission in any postgraduate program being offered on campus or at any affiliated institution of the university to appear in the above mentioned test.

There will be a single question paper comprising 100 multiple choice question. Total time allowed for the test will be two hours.

There will be three types of entrance test. First type of test will be held for MPhil Dental Science (All disciplines) at 9am to 11am. Second type of test will be for the candidates of MPhil Basic Sciences (All discipline) and Basic PGD (DCP and DMJ) from 12 noon to 2pm while the third type of test will be organized for Clinical subjects (MD, MS, MDS and Clinical PGD) from 3pm to 5pm.

The candidates are required to register for the test at the concerned institution where they wish to get admission. The respective institutions will submit the details of applicants to UHS with clear identification of each category i.e clinical and basic groups with their subjects or specialty of choice till May 10, 2013 before closing hours.

All the candidates are required to reach UHS Lahore one hour before the start of their respective test on May 18, 2013 along with the original CNIC. The roll number slips will be issued on the spot.

UHS will conduct only one entrance test for admission to postgraduate courses for the session 2013-14 which will be held on May 18. No other test for the same courses will be held this year.

As HEC guideline, GAT General Test conducted by National Testing Services with minimum 50 percent cumulative marks will be required at the time for admission to MPhil courses. The GAT General Test is valid for a period of two years.
