Lahore, The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Monday declared the result of the second professional MBBS Annual Examination 2012.
As many as 3,086 candidates were appeared in the exams from 22 affiliated medical colleges. The exams were conducted in November out of which 2,200 succeeded and 763 candidates failed. Around 123 candidates will get result later. The overall pass percentage remains 74.25.
Student from Shalamar Medical and Dental College in Lahore, Iqra Arshad got first position by getting 862 out of 1,000 marks. Fatima Khalid, a student of Avicenna Medical College (Lahore) clinched second position by getting 854 marks while Sadaf Faisal Bhopal from Wah Medical College, Wah Cantt stood third with 847 marks while students who could not pass the exam can submit their admission forms before January 22, 2013. Supplementary examinations will commence from February 13.
