Lahore: A student of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET) Sarah Ahmad recently awarded with Hero Microsoft Student Partner Award. She was one out of the two people to receive this award in the Middle East and Africa region.


The Hero Microsoft Studnet Partner Award is presented to the people as an acknowledgement for their efforts in IT.


During her contract, Sarah has been actively conducting technical trainings, giving Microsoft Virtual Academy certifications and helping out the other community members.

Sarah, together with the other 12 MSPs from the region, has been part of a ‘Girls Who Code’ video as a part of women empowerment initiative by Microsoft.

Basically, the MSPs are student technology leaders who are making Microsoft communities on their university campuses which comprises of the aspirants who share a deep passion for technology.

The Microsoft has chosen MSPs from all over 100 countries worldwide. Presently, Pakistan has 190 MSPs from universities spread crosswise the country.

Microsoft is intensely interested in the technology ecosystem of Pakistan and has launched numerous programs such as DreamSpark, BizSpark as well as other technical trainings to more assist students.

Though, their Microsoft Student partner has been a huge success, creating a hub of talented individuals in Pakistan.
