UET Combined Entry Test and registration schedule 2016

Lahore: University of Engineering and Technology (UET) has announced the registration and test schedule for combined entry test 2016 for admission at UET or any of its affiliated engineering institute of Punjab for BSc Engineering programs and BSc technology programs.

The entry test would be conducted on July 17^th, 2016 (Sunday) at 10:00 AM simultaneously at the given examination centers.

·         NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology, Khanewal Road, Multan

·         College of Engineering, Islamia University, Bahawalpur

·         Government College of Technology, Rahim Yar Khan

·         NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad

·         University of Gujrat, Gujrat

·         Government College of Technology, Rasul

·         Dr. A. Q. Khan Institute of Technology, Mianwali

·         Quaid-e-Azam College of Engineering and Technology, 6 KM Pakpattan Road, Sahiwal

Eligible Candidates:

The candidates who have passed or who have appeared in FSc / Inter, BSc, DAE, B.Tech (Pass) or any equivalent exams are eligible to apply for the entry test. Though, the appearance in Lahore entry test does not give the right to apply for admission at UET Lahore and its campuses or constituent institute.

Applying Procedure:

Students are required to filled the entry test applications online through the web link from June 13^th, 2016 to June 30^th, 2016 . If needed, the candidates may use computer facility in the designated computer laboratories at the above mentioned examination centers during the time period between 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM with a prayer break, from Monday to Friday.

Challan Form and Test Fee:

After filling the online application form accurately the candidates will take a printout of the bank challan ensuring that the entered data is correct. Applicants can deposit their challan form in any online branch of HBL, Pakistan. However, the Entry Test Fee is Rs. 500/-.

Form Submission and receipt of admission card:

The applications will be accepted only online and applicants are not required to visit any examination center. Admission cards will also be available in printed form.

Following steps are required to be followed for receiving admission card.

·         After the submission of entry test fee in the bank, wait for 2 days.

·         After that log in again. Then click on the option “Get Online Admit Card” on the main menu. Enter your tracking number and CNIC number.

·         If fee payment approval has been received, you will be asked to upload your recent passport size colored picture along with the blue background (Picture format JPEG or GIF, Max File up to 1.0 MB) and choose the examination center.

·         Your admit card would be created without any delay.

Note:

In case if fee payment is not confirmed even after 2 days, then the applicants would be required to upload the scanned copy of their paid challan form on the web portal as instructed on the official web site. Payment would be sanctioned after verification.

Selection of Test Center:

The candidates may select any Examination Center from the list given above; however, for their own ease they are advised to select a Test Center nearest to their home /district of domicile.

Furthermore, the candidates are advised to apply at their earliest. As the seating capacity is limited in each Center, they will have to select an alternate examination Center in case all seats in a Center of their choice have been filled already.

Important Note:

·         The applications sent through post or by courier shall not be entertained.

·         Mobile phones will not be allowed in the examination centers.

·         Last date for the submission of Entry Test Application is (Thursday) June 30^th, 2016 up to 4:00 PM

·         Requirement of Photo ID at test center during entry test

·         The candidates are reminded to arrange for photo-ID like CNIC, SSC certificate; Domicile etc to display in the Entry Test Centers during the Entry Test. Failure to give a photo-id may result in expulsion from the Test Center.

Result Announcement:

The result of Combined Entry Test will be announced July 24^th, 2016 (Midnight) and will be available at official website of university. However the key of the test for self-marking shall be uploaded on the website at midnight on test date.
