Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has made a plan to begin the Chinese language course in the other cities of the province of Punjab.
As per the issued press release, 3-month duration courses would be introduced at Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala as well as Sialkot.
Presently, Tevta is managing 3-month duration Chinese language course for the general public whereas the 4-month duration course for the executive and for the business community at Lahore.
The head of Tevta Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said it during reviewing the progress of Chinese language course. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi as well as the other officers was also present there.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that over 500 people had completed 3-month duration courses whereas the first group of 4-month executive courses will be completed in the month of April this year. The Executive Course has been started at Governmen Technical Training Institute Gulberg whereas the general language course at Government College of Technology Railway Road as well as Government Technical Training institute Gulberg. There are almost 50 students in each class.
The head of Tevta moreover said that the people from the other cities were getting in touch to begin the Chinese language course at their cities. In order to provide the said demand, Tevta is starting this course in the other cities of the province. This course would also be helpful for Pakistani youth who might intend to get the job in Chinese companies working in Pakistan and employment in China.
The main objective to begin this language programme in other cities is to make the already trained expert labor force of Pakistan more adequate in the Chinese market
He was buoyant that Pakistan could attract Chinese producing sector by developing a trained workforce for industries in the entire world.
