Lahore: Government of Punjab has introduced e-learning system at government sector schools. In the first phase eight schools have been given tablets.
The aspirants of these schools are learning science through video stories on these tablets.

Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and physics subjects are available on these tablets for grade 6th to grade 10th.
On these tablets the lectures are available in both English and Urdu. In the meantime, e-learning libraries can also be accessed via tablets.
According to the teachers, this step has made learning interactive for children.

“Children learn through imaginings. For instance when you teach them regarding an atom they have to visualize a nucleus and electron. The videos explain the concept to the children,” a teacher said.
“Our concepts are too much clear now. The videos quite are interesting,” a student said.
Pakistan lags far behind when it comes to the education of children. According to a research, 25 million children in Pakistan are out of school.
