Hyderabad, University Of Sindh, Faculty Of Education has started Spring Semester Admissions 2013 in B.Ed., M.Ed, and M.A. Education (Morning & Evening) Regular Program. Last date of submission of the form is 24th December, 2012.
The University of Sindh is the oldest public University of Pakistan established in 1947, Spread - over area of 8000 acres of land, there are 52 full-fledged teaching institutes / centres / departments functioning under 08 academic Faculties in the University of Sindh. The Faculty of Education is one of its important Faculty, situated 18 Kilometers away from main Allama I.I. Kazi Campus, Jamshoro at City of Hyderabad. Faculty of Education being the first teaching department of the University of Sindh serving both urban and rural areas of province of Sindh. The programs offered by the Faculty of Education include B.Ed. M.Ed. (one year) and M.A. Education tow year (Morning / Evening) and B.Ed. (Hons) Elementary 4 years program, M.Phil. / Ph.D. The admission in two semester B.Ed, and M.Ed. Programs (Morning / Evening) are announced in Spring and Fall Session.
Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to B.Ed. M.Ed, and M.A. Education Morning & Evening regular Programs for the Academic year Spring 2013.
Application forms can be obtained from M/s Habib Bank Limited (Old Campus Hyderabad ) on payment of Rupees 300/- non-refundable with effect from 8th December, 2012.
Last date of submission of the form is 24th December, 2012. The Final Merit List Announcement on 27th December, 2012. Last date for deposition of admission fees is 30th December, 2012.
The Classes will commence from 3rd January, 2013. The fees will be paid in Habib Bank Ltd. (Old Campus Branch, Hyderabad).
The University of Sindh has ever since its inception held the Teacher Education in high priority, and has been committed to educating quality teachers and other professional personnel to help meet the staffing needs of public and private urban and rural schools. The teacher Education programs are extended to both in-service and pre-service needs.
The Faculty of Education started as the first teaching department of the University in 1951-52 achieving its FACULTY status in 1989. It has provided more than 15000 trained graduate teachers to man the educational network not only in Sindh but also in other part of Pakistan.
