Sindh University selects for FPCCI achievement award 2012

Jamshoro, The federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has selected the University of Sindh (UoS) Jamshoro for the first FPCCI achievement award 2012 as the university has made achievements in the field of education and training.

President of FPCCI Haji Fazal Kadir Khan Sherani exposed this news in a letter written to the vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir A. Mughal.
 
The University of Sindh is working to deliverhigher education and training with prodigious dedication and commitment. Due to its creditable facilities in the field of education and training, FPCCI has nominated it for achievement award 2012.
 
First FPCCI achievement award ceremony will be held in the last week of February, 2013 at Karachi and prime minister of Pakistan Raja Parvez Ashraf would also be present in which Sindh University will be honored with gold medal, revealed in the letter.

The Punjab government is planning to distribute around 8000 solar panels to the local talented students in Sialkot district. The solar panels would be distributed under the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s Ujala Scheme.

The Sialkot DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal has informed that the district management of Sialkot has also finalized the required paper work for this purpose. CM would distribute the solar panels during his soon visit to Sialkot.

Punjab Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman has said that quality of education with modern technologies is essential for removal of poverty and illiteracy. He expressed his views while addressing an annual prize distribution ceremony of an education institute at Alhamra Cultural Complex.
