Islamabad: The government has reserved Rs2.5 billion for the financial aid of the aspirants belonging tto the under-developed regions of the country in the present financial year.

Under the fee reimbursement scheme of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, the aspirants are being paid full tuition fee, admission fee and registration fees through the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
The aspirants belonging to low developed regions chasing Masters, MPhil and PhD degrees in various HEC recognized government sector varsities are eligible for support under the scheme.

The target areas listed for the scheme include entire Balochistan, Interior Sindh, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, FATA, south Punjab and few districts of KPK and northern Punjab.
