Punjab University opens admissions in textile courses

Lahore, University of the Punjab, Department of Textile Engineering and Technology has opened admissions in Textile Courses (Self Supporting Evening Programs) and offering Post Graduate Diploma in Textile Processing Technology and certificate course in Textile Technology.

The last date for submission of application from is March 22, 2013.

The course includes Textile Fiber Science, Colour Science, Textile Chemicals & Auxiliaries, Textile Processing Technology, Textile Processing & Equipment, Textile Management, Environmental Aspects of Textile Processing & Quality Control. The duration of course is 1 Year (Two Semesters).

The eligibility candidates must have done M.Sc. Chemistry/B.Sc. Chemical Engg./B.Sc. Textile Engg./B.E. Textile Engg./ M.Sc. Fiber Tech./M.Sc. Home Economics (with specialization in Clothing & Textile).
 
The university is also offering Certificate Course in Textile Technology course modules are: Introduction to Textiles, Textile wet Processing, Textile Quality Control and Textile Management.

Duration of this course is 3 Months, Two days a week (Thursday and Friday).

Candidates who want to get admission in this course must have    F.A or Equivalent education.

The details of the Programs are available in the Prospectus which can be obtained from March 11, 2013 in person on payment of Rs.300/- during the office hours of the Department.
