Lahore: Minister for Punjab Labour and Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that Punjab government will completely utilize the services of international support firm, Mckinsey & Company, for skill training, certification and employment of two million youth of the province under Punjab Growth Policy 2018.
Over 15 construction firms will train two million graduates under the supervision of this Growth Policy.
Over and above 15 construction and trade companies have shown keen interest in trained graduates of Punjab for the completion of mega projects of United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia as well as of other countries.

Ashfaq Sarwar said this while addressing a meeting with Mckinsey & Company LME Limited Partner Head Tom Isherwood. Mckinsey & Company Associate Principal Taimur Khan, Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) CEO Ali Akbar Bosan as well as the officials of Labour Department also attended the meeting.
The minister told the attendees of the meeting that syllabus of technical training institutes including TEVTA, PVTC and PSDF has been titivated and a placement cell has already started performing its duties under TEVTA, sending thousands of skilled graduates abroad for the completion of mega construction projects.
