Punjab Government imposes ban on use of chalk, black board in schools

Lahore: Government of the Punjab has imposed a ban on using the chalk and black board in schools across the province.

The ban has been imposed by keeping in view the negative effects of use of chalk on the health of children.

As per the notification issued by the education department on Thursday, the commands have been given to the all the government sector schools for buying white board and markers with them.

The special Secretary Education Punjab has issued the directions for purchasing at least one white board and marker as soon as possible.

The government took this step for securing health of children against ill effects of use of chalk.
