PU opens admissions in ADE (Associate Degree in Education) for in-service teachers

Lahore, Institute of Education & Research (IER), University of the Punjab has opened admissions 2013-16 in ADE (Associate Degree in Education) for in-service Teacher.

USAID funded merit scholarships will be available for students of ADE in-service.

The Associate Degree in Education (ADE) is a new teacher education program designed for in service teacher to utilize their teaching potential and further development their teaching skills. The focus of the program is to enhance the professional education and content knowledge of practicing teachers, alongside inculcating effective and innovative teaching skills to upgrade the essential competences of the teachers.

Candidates can get admission forms in the Associate Degree in Education (ADE) for in-service teachers from March 18, 2013.

Desiring applicant must have FA/FSc or equivalent degree with CT or DIE and 3 years teaching experience.
Prospectus and application forms can be taken personally from central record office of the institute by depositing Rs 300/ in Account No. 101-25, Habib Bank Ltd, Quaid-i-Azam campus, University of the Punjab, Lahore or through mail by sending Bank draft/ postal order for Rs 360/ in favour of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Last date for submission of application form is April 22, 2013 up to 1:00pm.
