PU law college auditorium to be named after Edhi

LAHORE: The Punjab University Law College has decided to name its recently renovated old auditorium after legendary philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi. In this respect, a ceremony will be held shortly.

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Lahore also organized a condolence reference on Tuesday.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Talat Naseer Pasha led the reference where university staff from various departments took part.

Professor Pasha admired the social worker, saying that, Edhi was a great man and a true torchbearer of humankind and generosity following the lessons of Islam of brotherhood, patience, simplicity and equality.

He then added about his university scheduling to launch a welfare society to improve the living values and morals of poor students and employees.
