PU issues various exams date sheet 2012

Lahore, Examinations Department of Punjab University has released the written date sheets for the second professional MBBS (Latest New Re-Organized Scheme) Supplementary examinations 2012, Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) Third Professional Second Annual Exams 2012 and PGD in International Affairs Annual Exams 2012.

PU Centre for Clinical Psychology and College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) conducted sports festivals in their own premises.

Director Sports Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar and Director of the Center, Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar and Principal Prof Dr Firdaus-e-Bareen open the sports galas. In CEES, the sports gala was conducted on the theme “Endangered Animals” and several teams from various programs and sessions were selected on animals such as Dolphins, Pandas, Tigers, Crocodiles etc.

In cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, tug of war, athletics and fun games a large number of students were there and participated in these events. At the end certificates were also awarded to winning teams and players.

Examinations Department of Punjab University has released written and Practical date sheets of BA Supplementary Examination 2012 and Annual Examination 2013. The said exam will be held from April 05, 2013.

Punjab University organized a laptop distribution ceremony at Undergraduate Study Centre and distributed 479 laptops among regular teachers under the scheme of Chief Minister.

PU Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, President Academic Staff Association Prof Dr Ehsan Sharif, Secretary Javed Sami, MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir and a large number of teachers were also present on this occasion.

Dr Sharif and Mr Sami acknowledge the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif in this regard for awarding laptops among teachers. A total of 479 laptops were awarded to regular PU teachers who are either engaged in MPhil of PhD or managing MPhil and PhD students.

The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
