PU issues fee submission date for Pharm-D exams

Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has issued the schedule for submission of admission forms and fee for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) Fourth Professional, annual exam 2012 and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) One Year Condensed/Deficit Course, annual exam 2011.

The last date for submission of admission forms with single fee is Nov 22, 2012, while the forms can be submitted with double fee till Nov 23, 2012. Commencement dates of said examinations are Dec 17, 12 and Dec 03, 12 respectively.

Punjab University College of Art & Design in collaboration with the Lahore Museum is holding a grand exhibition on the genre of Landscape Painting in Pakistan on November 22, at 3.30PM at the Lahore Museum Contemporary Painting Gallery.

The exhibition will be attended by a large number of renowned artists, art lovers and prominent citizens.

Punjab University Center for South Asian Studies (CSAS) is organizing a one day seminar on “Human Rights in South Asia with Special Reference to Pakistan” on Thursday (today), November 22, at 11:30am in the seminar hall of the centre.

Deputy Director Human Rights, Human and Minorities Affairs Department, Govt of the Punjab Muhammad Yousuf will be the key note speaker.

Speakers at a conference titled “Ideal Human and Ideal Society in the Thoughts of M. Fethullah Gulen” have said that the purpose of teachings of Fethullah Gulen was spread of knowledge and inspired from his thoughts, Hizmat movement aims at serving individual, society and religion.

The international conference was attended by PU Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Director External Linkages Dr Maria Maldonado, Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar, Rector University of Management and Technology Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad, Vice Chancellor University of Education Prof Dr Faizul Hasan, Vice Chancellor Isra University Hyderabad Prof Dr Asad ullah Qazi, Member of Turkish Parliament Dr Muhammad Cetin, Turkey’s Kaynak Holdings Chairman Nasi Tosun, The Fountain magazine editor Hakan Yesilova, Chairman Rumi Forum Pakistan Haron Koken, Director Lahore Chapter Mesut Kacamz, Chairman Gallop Survey of Pakistan Dr Ijaz Shafi Gillani, senior faculty members and researchers and guests from Pakistan, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Northern Ireland and USA’s universities.

In his inaugural address, Prof Dr Liaqat Ali said that all-out efforts had been made for the successful organization of the conference and it was hoped that the moot would achieve its goals.
