Lahore, Students of Hailey College of Banking and Finance of Punjab University, Hafiz Shahrukh Tariq from BBA Hons and Hassan Obaid student of MBA have clinched two Guinness World Record. They were competing in Guinness World Records Competitions which were conducted by Chief Minister Punjab Youth Festival 2013 in Hockey (Passing & Dribbling).
College Principal Prof Dr Khawaja Amjad Saeed congratulated the students on their great victory and said that such activities will surely benefit in enriching the image of the university. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has also praised the efforts of the students on this success.
Examinations Department of PU has announced the results of MA Education (Elementary/Secondary/General) Part 1 and I2 S/2011 and A/2012 and M.Ed (General & Science) S/2011 and A/2012.
Punjab University Hajver Chair conducted aresearch article writing contest about Hazrat Ali Hajveri. Students of several institutions from Lahore took part in it. Punjab University Department of Urdu’s Hassan Raza got first position with cash prize of Rs 25,000. Hafiz Muhammad Tauqeer of MSc Mathematics, Govt MAO College stood second Rs 15,000 cash prize was awarded while Punjab University’s Riaz Ali, Research Scholar, Department of Iqbaliat got third position with cash prize of Rs 10,000.
