Lahore, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has initiated daycare centre at Institute of Business and Information Technology on Thursday.
Director IBIT Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar and faculty members were also present on the occasion. They acknowledged PU VC for giving them daycare centre facility at the institute.
Meanwhile, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran hosted a lunch to esteem Professor Emeritus for his working in several departments of the university.
The event was participated by Professor Emeritus Prof Sheikh Imtiaz Ali, Prof Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, Prof Dr Muzaffar Ahmad, Prof Dr AR Shakoori, Prof Dr Khawaja Muhammad Zakaria, Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem, Prof Dr Syed Muhammad Akram Shah, Prof Dr Javed Iqbal, Prof Dr Razi Abbas Shamsi, Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz Ch, Prof Dr Muhammad Arif Butt, Prof Dr Muhammad Shahbaz Malik, Controller Examinations Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Dean Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar, Dean Prof Dr Taqi Zahid Butt, Registrar Prof Dr Khan Rass Masud, Additional Registrar Prof Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir.
The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
