NTS issues GAT General Test Schedule 2013 for admission in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship

Islamabad, National Test Series (NTS) has announced General Assessment Test GAT General Test 2013 for admission in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Scheme. In this regard test would be conducted on Jan 06, 2013 and Last Date of Submission of forms is Dec 10, 2012.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has assigned National Test Series (NTS) the responsibility to conduct General Assessment Test Gat General for admission in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Schemes.

GAT Test Schedule

Candidates with a minimum of 16- years Education are eligible to appear for M.Phil and HEC Scholarships Program. Candidates who want to improve their previous GAT Score con also apply. The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the University / HEC Schemes. Test held on those cities Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faislabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala, and Hyderabad.

The candidate is required to register for appearing in the test as scheduled by NTS. The registration process is:
Fill registration form (online) and bank deposit slip from NTS website www.nts.org.pk. (Registration form is available on website only).

Deposit Rs. 900/- (Rupees Nine Hundred only) for GAT – General Test through online bank deposit slip in the online branches of MCB, UBL, HBL or ABL. (See bank service charges on deposit slip).

Attach 2 photographs (1 x 1.5 inch) at the front of this registration form.

All candidates are required to provide their photographs with full face exposure. Do not send any documents other than two photos and original bank deposit slip along with your registration form.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced for National Testing Service (NTS) GAT-GENERAL test dates 2013. Its responsibility is to conduct GRE (Graduate Assessment Test GET-GENERAL for admissions in Master Programs and MPhil Programs according to the requirement of Universities. NTS GAT General Test is also important for achieving HEC Scholarships.

There are two types of these tests.

GAT-General
GAT-Subject

GAT-General (Graduate Assessment Test) for admissions in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Schemes and GAT-Subject for PhD. Programs.
Candidates with a minimum of sixteen years of education are eligible to appear in GAT General and 18 years education for GAT Subject.

GAT-Subject helps to evaluate, analyze, solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material in a specific area of study. It is for Ph.D. admission.
