Lahore Board to send roll number slips thorough SMS

Lahore, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore will send roll number slips to matric and intermediate students for the exams 2013 through SMS on their mobile phones.. The verification can be made by students to the examiner and staff as they are the candidates for the subject exams.

The decision has been taken to support the students and to provide facilities as they are facing problems. This facility would be introduced for the final matric and intermediate exams 2013. By having this facility they could save time. The board has contacted with the mobile phone companies in this regard and discussions are underway. By introducing this service students will get rid to visit board office.  This system will prove useful and will have fruitful results if the information for exams and roll number slips will be done on time and accurately.

Moreover due to heavy traffic of SMS then this service will not be useful and the difficulties of the students will remain same.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi has declared the schedule for submission of registration form for HSSC exam. According to the information HSSC regular students can submit registration form till January 21 while last date for private students is February 4.

The intermediate examinations are scheduled to be held from May 4.

Fee for regular students is fixed of Rs 1,400 who are appearing in Humanities subjects for composite exam while Rs750 for either Part I or II. Likewise, fee for private students appearing in Humanities subjects for composite exam is Rs1,500 and Rs 800 either for part I and II.

Regular candidates appearing in Sciences subjects would pay Rs1,500 for composite exam while Rs800 for one of the parts.

Fee for private students of Science subjects would be Rs1,700 for composite exam and Rs900 for a single part.

After the due date students would pay extra charges to submit the form. Private candidates would pay an extra Rs800 for registration.

Admission forms are available at the designated banks while forms can be submitted at 21 different facilitation centres around Rawalpindi.
