KU declares form submission date and exams schedule

Karachi, University of Karachi has declared that LLB and LLM admission forms for the year 2012-13 can be submitted in concerned colleges along with Rs.1500/- enrolment fee and Rs.750/- late fee till February 28.

Meanwhile, the university has also declared the last date that is Feb 04 for admissions in B.A, B. Sc. And B. Com (Pass) First and Second year in the colleges affiliated to Karachi University, the admission forms can be submitted from February 06 to 27 with payment of Rs.500/- as late fee and from February 28 to March 21 with payment of Rs.1000/- as late fee.

Likewise, the university will receive enrolment forms from February 26 without late fee while from Feb 27 to March 17 Rs.800/- will be charged as late fee. The enrolment forms could be submitted in colleges. The classes will begin from February 11, 2013.

The practical and oral examination of B.A. (Pass) for First and Second Year Social Work will be conducted from February 11, 2013 at different colleges, the university declared. The first shift will be conducted at 9.30a.m to 12.30p.m and second shift at 2.00p.m to 5.00p.m. While on Friday, the second shift timings will be 2.30p.m to 5.30p.m.

 KU has declared the result of M.A. (Final) Economics External Annual Examination 2011.

A total of 3547 candidates were registered out of which 3331 took the exam. However, 499 students were declared successful in the exam with pass percentage of14.98%.

University of Karachi on Wednesday held its 23rd annual convocation and awarded degrees to 3,366 students while 155 of them were given gold medals.

According to information, 3,366 degrees were awarded to students of nine faculties of the year 2011. However, only 771 students were present in the convocation including 182 PhD and 101 MPhil students.
 
Degrees and gold medals were awarded to students of several departments, who have passed BA (Honrs), BS, MA, MLIS, Pharm D, BCom (Hons), BBA, BPA, MAS, MBA, MCom, MHRM, MSC, MCS, MS, MPhil and PhD.

There were 155 gold medals were awarded to both morning and evening programs. Earlier, gold medals were given to students of only those departments which could arrange sponsors.
