Karachi, The University of Karachi has issued admissions schedule 2013 for BA and BSc (Honors), BCom, BBA, BPA, MSc, MBA and MPA. The forms can be submitted till Nov 19 with Rs 1,500 fee.
Students of University of Karachi who have passed BS./Hons. 2nd year (4 semesters) and those having appeared in the terminal examination of the 4th semester are eligible to appear in the Aptitude Test. Admissions are also offered on donor seats.
The admissions will be given only through entry test. The admission forms can be obtained and deposited at the designated branches of the United Bank Ltd (UBL) at the Silver Jubilee gate of the university, the Nazimabad traffic intersection branch and the Gulshan-i-Iqbal branch opposite Masjid Baitul Mukaram during 12th to 19th November. 2012 on payment of Rs. 1500/= only.

The University of Karachi was established by an act of Pakistan parliament in June, 1951. The present campus, to which the University shifted in 1959, is spread over 1279 acres of land, situated 12 Km away from the city center.

The faculty comprises of more than 700 highly qualified and experienced teachers; many of them have obtained higher degrees from abroad and enjoy a high repute internationally. The non-teaching staff comprises more than 1700 people to help with administrative and other matters.
