Gujrat/Sialkot: Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has approved Lahore and Sialkot sub-campuses of University of Gujrat (UoG).
No Objection Certificates (NOCs) were issued each to Lahore and Sialkot sub-campuses which had been established under government and private sector partnership initiative endorsed by the commission.
Director of Lahore Campus Farooq Baloch and Director of Sialkot Campus Rehan Younus met the Vice Chancellor of University of Gujrat Prof. Dr Ziaul Qayyum and congratulated him.
The NOC letter issued by Higher Education commission permits the Lahore and Sialkot campuses to imparting education in computing and IT, administrative and management sciences, social sciences through their faculties or schools.
Chief Executive UoG (Sialkot Campus) Rehan Younus told the media sources that the university had further strengthened its ties along with the society by this attainment.
Vice Chancellor Dr Zia said that:
“The establishment of University of Gujrat campuses in different cities is a proof that the youth have a complete trust in standard and quality of education maintained by the UoG at its campuses.”
He asked the administration of UoG Sialkot Campus to offer best facilities to students.
