Gomal University to establish sub-campus in another city

Tank: District Nazim Mustafa Khan Kundi on Thursday said the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has approved Rs 10 million for the establishment of sub-campus of Gomal University in Tank.

While talking to the media reporters he said that the people of Tank, South Waziristan and frontier regions (FR) will finally get their dream of higher education near their homes.

He further said that a team comprising of senior officials of Gomal University visited Government College and Government Vocational Institute as well as other places for establishing the campus along with full facilities.

Further he added that in its first stage the campus will introduce a degree in journalism, business administration, IR, public administration as well as in few other disciplines of arts.

The district nazim said that district government had also assured full support for the establishment of sub-campus adding that 300 universities will be established crosswise the country under Vision 2025.
