Multan: A talented student who was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm a month after he was appeared in intermediate exams has secured the first position in inter level exams held by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan this year. But, the sad news is that he is no more in the world to celebrate his success.
Waqas Rauf, a resident of Vehari district, will not be able to celebrate his success as he died of brain hemorrhage on July 11th, 2016.

According to the announced BISE Multan board result 2016, Rauf had obtained 1013 marks in general science group and secured first position in annual exams.
Waqas Rauf’s parents were invited at the prize distribution ceremony organized at Multan Arts Council on Saturday. Waqas’s father Haji Niaz, a retired army man, could not control his emotions when he was invited on stage to receive the medal and certificate of his late son.
While talking to media sources, Niaz said his son had made him proud even after his death however, they could no longer celebrate his success.

“This is a very difficult time for the whole family. Unfortunately, death came earlier to Waqas than success,” he said.
He said Waqas was a very hardworking and brave student, who did not allowed his disease to come in the way of his studies.
“His disease was diagnosed one month after his exams. During the exam, he used to complain about the symptoms of brain hemorrhage like headache, weakness in the body and coldness,” he added.
“Even along with his ill health, he used to study the whole night, “said Rauf’s father.
