The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has yielded great success in the recent past and as per the experts, it will continue to improve the economy of Pakistan and the ties along with China.
The CPEC partnership has helped Pakistan in different regions; from road establishment to offering airport equipment and from the construction of Gwadar to establishing the navy taskforce.

While talking about the education sector, Pakistan’s Attache to China, Navid Hassan Khan, said that the numbers of scholarships for Pakistani students has been increased to 600 a year by the Government of China.
Navid Hassan furthermore said that the scholarships have been increased from 200 and the rest of the 400 scholarships are awarded via universities, as opposed to government.
Reflecting upon the huge number of Pakistani students studying in China, he said that total 15,652 Pakistani students are studying in various universities of China. Out of the total, almost 18% of the students are funded by the government of China.
He also said that approximately 1000 students are also being facilitated in China on other scholarship programs of the varsities.

The Chinese Ambassador, Sun Weidong said:
“It is really great to learn that the aspirants here [in China] are from all over Pakistan, and not just the big cities like the capital.”
The CPEC scholarship program has undoubtedly open a gate for opportunity for large number of students, said Navid.
The different fields in which Pakistani students (on scholarship and self-financed) are enrolled registered include:
1. Computer Science and Technology
2. Broadcasting Communication
3. Business Administration
4. Finance
5. Chemistry
6. Architecture
7. Biology
8. International Law
9. Journalism
10. Civil Engineering
Navid Hassan also said that the aspirants are enrolled in bachelors, masters and Ph.D programs and also in other advanced training programs.
