China awarded 200 scholarships to Karachi university students

Karachi: More than 200 students were awarded scholarships by the Chinese consul general at a ceremony organized at the Sheikh Zayed auditorium, Karachi University, on Saturday.

While addressing the scholarships awarding ceremony, Chinese consul general Wang You appreciated the progress of Karachi University Confucius Institute and said it was making the Chinese language famous in the Pakistani society as well as the strengthening academic relations among the two nations.

“The Pak-China economic corridor shows the close ties the two countries have,” he added.
