Sahiwal: The local sub campus of Bahauddin Zakariya University has been closed for an indefinite period of time due to the ‘security threat’.
The management of BZU has reportedly got emptied all the hostels and academic blocks as well. The scheduled exams have also been postponed due to this reason.

While talking to media personnel, the director of regional campus Dr Moueed denied such rumours and said that the campus was closed due to summer vacation.
On the other hand, a notification displayed at the main gate of varsity reads that the campus has been closed on instructions of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Tahir Amin.
It notification moreover reads the aspirants and parents are informed that the university will remain closed till next order.
