Karachi: The 95 pending results of Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, (BIEK) pre-medical group were announced by the authorities of BISE Karachi board on Monday afternoon.
This announcement was made by the officials of board after more than one month because of the investigation being carried out by an Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) team was finally made possible due to the interference of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and secretary to the CM on varsities and boards Naveed Shaikh. They had been demanded to look into this issue by chairperson BISE Karachi board Mohammad Akhtar Ghori.
BIEK published the result on their official website soon after receiving a letter from the CM secretariat.

However, the mark sheets will be returned on the condition of receiving the guarantee from board in writing from their parents as well as guardians. As the investigation is still continue, they are expected to accept whatever the decision of the ACE may be if any of the mark sheets are found unsure by the committee.
In the meantime, the first year results under BISE Karachi board which were expected to be announced in November may also get delayed further because of the Sindh Professors’ Lecturers’ Association (SPLA) deciding to boycott the checking of answer sheets of the first year students.
SPLA organized a press conference on Monday afternoon where the professors expressed their grievances over being constantly “harassed” by ACE.
