Benazir Bhutto Digital Library set up in Lahore

Lahore, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Trust Digital Library on The Mall has been initiated by PPP central leader Syed Asif Hashmi.
 
Syed Asif Hashmi, also the chairman of Evacuee Trust Property Board, said on this occasion that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto always struggled to strengthen and promote the quality of education. Sardar Sham of Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee praised the struggles of PPP government for Sikhs.

National University of Modern Languages has opened admissions in IELTS preparatory course.

Experienced and well trained teachers will deliver the lectures and proper feedback and analysis and test practice on the pattern of IELTS exams in four skills would be given.

Duration of the courses in 6 weeks and classes would commence from Monday to Friday.

Last date for submission of application forms and dues is March 22, 2013 and fee of the course is Rs 65000/. Limited admission forms available at the campus from March 18, 2013.

Classes would begin from April 01. Admissions would be granted on first come first serve basis.

Punjab Government has planned to give educational scholarships to the children of retired and in-service employees. The government has asked those children to submit application forms up to March 31, 2013.

The government has further declared that children of non-gazetted workers can submit their forms in the office of the DCOs while children of gazetted workers can submit forms in the office of the Punjab Benevolent office Lahore.

Moreover, the government has declared that annual scholarships of Rs 50, 000 would be given to those students who will get over 90% marks in their exams.
