USAID-funded merit-cum need scholarships are available.
Eligibility Criteria is: At least 50% marks in Intermediate (HSC) or equivalent examination.
Admission Forms with information can be obtained from the United Bank Limited (UBL), Silver Jubilee Gate Booth, University Road, Karachi from Nov 20 to Nov 29, 2012 on payment of Rs. 1,000/-.
Last date of submission of forms is Thursday Nov 29, 2012 while Aptitude Test (At Faculty of Arts, at 10:00 a.m.) will be held on Dec 03, 2012.
List of candidates for interview will be displayed on Thursday Dec 06, 2012 and Interviews will be conducted on Saturday Dec 08, 2012.
List of successful candidates will be displayed on Monday Dec 10, 2012 while classes will be start from Friday Jan 04, 2013.
Higher Education Commission (HEC) is offering scholarships of Rs. 6000 per month for the studies but unprivileged students of University of Karachi. All those applicants who want to apply for this scholarship must be enrolled in a respective program (morning) studying on University of Karachi campus.
Applicants are invited from financially deprived and needy Pakistani nationals for the award of scholarships for Masters (2 years), Honours + Master (4 years) and Pham-D (5 years) program. Application forms are available online and are also available at Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO), University of Karachi.
Deadline for the submission of complete applications to the Students Financial Aid office is latest by 30th November.
Scholarship is based on assessment of need and merit as well as availability of funds. Selection will be decided on the basis of information provided in this form and investigations for the authentication of provided information. Candidate may be required to appear for interview (s).
